About Lady D's Beauty
Beaute' de la dame D, commonly referred to as Lady D's Beauty, is a brand that focuses on the optimal health of the hair and scalp by creating a hair care line that is tailored to each hair type and scalp disorder. Each product composes of herbal ingredients and plant extracts that are free from harmful chemicals and toxins. Our products are meticulosly developed with vitamins to provide the highest quality of professional and organic hair care products that are adored by our customers and loved by our environment.
Deeana Tate, who is the founder of Lady D's Beauty, realized she wanted to start an organic hair care line when recognizing that styling hair just wasn't fulfilling enough. The idea of beginning a hair care line grew invincibly in her heart as time passed and at that moment she decided she was going to make a difference in the beauty industry as opposed to just being a traditional hair stylist.
Deeana has always prioritized hair and scalp health in her personal life, even with the common use of protective hair styles worn often such as sewn-in weaves and braids. At a young age she began using chemical relaxers to straighten her hair and thought to herself that there has to be an healthier way to wear her hair relaxed. Fascinated with the idea of hair care, she attended a vocational program for Cosmetology while in high school. In 2007, while attending IONA College as an undergraduate Junior, Deeana obtained her Cosmetology license after completing 1,100 hours of training when she took the State Board Cosmetology Exam for New York.
One day she thought about the common dilemmas that her clients as well as herself face such a dry and itchy scalp, dull looking hair and breakage. Deeana thought that she should create high quality products that are of natural ingredients to alleviate those dilemmas. Although she felt she was destined to launch the line , initally she hesitated due to being fearful to the unknown. Realizing this was her calling, through the fear she began researching specific vitamins and ingredients she wanted to use in her products. Lady D's Beauty first product, Avocado Hair Mask, was then born. The mask is a deep penetrating all natural conditioner which is designed to stimulate the follicles in the scalp while intensly moisturizing the hair to promote hair growth.
Graduating from IONA College in 2008, with a degree in Finance, Deeana since then began using that education to strategically market herself in the beauty industry while keeping abreast of the latest trends to help women all over the world. She plans to expand Lady D's Beauty's brand by offering hair care products for women and eventually men's hair of all types . Furthermore, Deeana intends on opening up a hair salon botique where her clients can receive full service hair care while being recommended specialized in house products and tutorials to help them in their daily lives.
